Corkscrew no/4453556/Dod Incarnate Records/2013 CD Review

Corkscrew  are  a  band  that  mixes  grindcore,  digital  hardcore  and  gabber  together  and  this  is  a  review  of  their  2013  album  "4453556"  which  was  released  by  Dod  Incarnate  Records.

Drums  programming  ranges  from  slow,  mid  paced  to  to  fast  beats,  while the  sampling  brings  in  elements  of  digital  hardcore,  gabber  and  noise  along  with  some  porno  samples  to  create  a  sound  of   their  own.

Vocals  are  mostly  deep  grindcore/noise  growls  when  they  are  utilized  as  well  as  as  sampled  vocals,  while  the  song  themes  cover  gore,  demented  and  porno  themes,  as  for  the  production  it  has  a  very  heavy,  raw  and  primitive  sound  to  it  with  no  use  of  traditional  instruments.

In  my  opinion  Corkscrew  are  a  very  great  sounding  hybrid  of  grindcore,  noise,  digital  hardcore  and  gabber  and  if  you  are  a  fan  of  this  musical  genre,  you  should  check  out  this  band.  RECOMMENDED  TRACKS  INCLUDE  "Nocturnal  Nicotine  For  Vomit"  and  "Putrid  Prenatal  Nightclub".  RECOMMENDED  BUY.
