Hautet Court are a band from France that plays a mixture of crust, grind and mathcore and this is a review of their self released 2012 ep "La Vie".
Drums range from slow, mid paced to fast drumming with a great amount of brutal sounding blast beats being t hrown into t he music at times, while the bass playing has a v ery dark tone witrh riffs that follow the riffing that are coming out of the guitars.
Rhythm guitars range from slow, mid paced to fast riffs that combine crust, grind and mathcore together to create a sound of their own and there are no guitar solos or leads present on this recording.
Vocals are all deep death/grind/crust growls, while the lyrics cover everyday themes, as for the production it has a very strong, powerful and heavy sound for being a self released recording with the songs being short in length.
in my opinion Hautet Court are a very great sounding hybrid of grind, crust, and mathcore and if you are a fan of this musical style, you should check out this band. RECOMMENDED TRACKS INCLUDE "Let It Burst" and "Wasted Time For Wasted Minds". RECOMMENDED BUY.
