Bombs Of Hades/The Serpent's Redemption/Pulverised Records/2012 CD Review

Bombs  Of  Hades  are  a  band  from  Sweden  that  plays  a  mixture  of  death  metal  and  crust  punk  and  this  is  a  review  of  their  2012  album  "The  Serpent's  Redemption"  which  was  released  by  Pulverised  Records.

Drums  range  from slow,  mid  paced  to  fast  drumming  with  a  good  amount  of  brutal  sounding  blast  beats  being  thrown  into  the  music,  while  the  bass  playing  has  a  very  dark  tone  with  riffs  that  follow  the  riffing  that  is  coming  out  of  the  guitars.

Rhythm  guitars  range from  slow,  mid  paced  to  fast  riffs  that  combine  old  school  Swedish  death  metal  with  crust  punk  to  create  a  sound  of  their  own,  while  the  lead  guitars  are  very  chaotic  sounding  crust  punk  guitar  solos  and  leads,  as  for  the  acoustic  guitars  when  they  are  utilized  they  use  finger  picking  to  add  another  dimension  of  darkness  to  the  music.

Vocals  are  mostly  high  pitched  death  metal  screams  and  growls  with  some  hardcore  style  vocals  being  utilized  at  times,  while  the  lyrics  cover  gore  themes,  as  for  the  production  it  has  a  very  heavy,  raw  and  primitive  sound  to  it.

In  my  opinion  Bombs  Of  Hades  are  a  very  great  sounding  hybrid  of  death  metal  and  crust  punk and  if  you  are  a  fan  of  this  style  of  music,  you  should  check  out  this  band.  RECOMMENDED  TRACKS  INCLUDE  "Darkness,  My  Soul"  "The  Serpent's  Redemption"  and  "Incubus  Descending".  RECOMMENDED  BUY.
